Enable the Sense - Embody Life
Jenni Caster, QST Certified Trainer
About Me…
Serving the Willamette Valley in Oregon and United States military families in the EFMP.
My name is Jenni Caster, and I am a QST Certified Trainer through the Qigong Sensory Training Institute, www.qsti.org. As your QST Certified Trainer, I bring years of expertise in allied practices.
I’ve practiced as a Licensed Massage Therapist for over 20 years. I’m an expert at hands-on delivery.
Furthermore, I have worked with children and families delivering occupational therapy services as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, COTA/L.
I’ve grown to love QST and have a huge passion to give the gift of QST to as many families that have children with autism as I possibly can. The reason is this… QST works from the inside out. It doesn’t replace occupational therapy, but it makes OT more accessible because QST helps organize the senses - it works with the child’s nervous system.
I’m also mission focused about bringing QST to military families who have children with autism. As a Marine Corps Veteran, I understand the challenges of military life and how frequent moves and military cultural stress adds an extra layer of difficulty for Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) families. That’s why I want to put QST in your hands - you can take it wherever you go. Once you have it, it’s yours, from one duty station to the next.
Let’s connect and see if QST is right for you at this time…

Yes! I recommend two books. The first is Dr. Louisa Silva’s original book designed specifically for autism, and the second is a newer book that includes a more “Western” approach and is written for helping with self-regulation, not just autism.

Hiring a QST Certified Trainer can help you improve your QST delivery. Why? I can help you make sure you are applying the form correctly, guide you with recommendations on how to adjust for greater effectiveness, and I am here for support throughout the process. QST takes a long time to be effective - a year or more. Ever tried to learn yoga or tai chi from a book, or recovered from a physical injury by being your own physical therapist? Soliciting expertise can make a big difference.
